The Malaysian government is now eyeing to bring back a private jet belonging to fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho, or Jho Low, said Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad at an event on Sunday, Channel News Asia reports. Earlier this month, Indonesian authorities handed over the Equanimity, a luxury yacht that is believed to be purchased using funds misappropriated from Malaysia’s state investment company, the 1 Malaysia Development Berhad. The Cayman Islands-flagged Equanimity was seized in Bali on February at the request of US  authorities as part of a multi-billion dollar corruption investigation launched by the Department of Justice (DOJ). A spokesman for the fugitive businessman said that Mahathir has once again showed that the proper legal process has no place in his regime and that the US has not proven anything.
