Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi claimed that more and more Indonesian women have joined the global efforts to promote peace, as she addressed the 43rd Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland, on Monday. During the Good Human Rights Stories Initiatives arranged by the European Union, Retno described the role of Indonesian women in spreading the value of peace, tolerance, and multiculturalism. “The role of Indonesian women in promoting peace is not only done at the national level but also at the regional and global levels,” Retno said.
