‘One year on – The Essex Lorry Tragedy’ will be screened at three global film festivals after being hailed at the Pune International Film Festival in India. The documentary produced by Vietnam News, which depicts the stories of those losing their loved ones in container truck tragedy in the U.K. in 2019, will be shown at the Druk International Film Festival in Bhutan, the Virgin Spring Cinefest in India and the World Film Carnival in Singapore. 39 Vietnamese were found dead in a truck near London in 2019. The deaths made international headlines: the youngest were two 15-year old boys and the oldest was a 44-year old man.  Most of the victims came from Nghe An Province.
