The floods that hit Bangkok have had far-reaching repercussions beyond the inundated communities. Among the unlikely victims are Thai Airways passengers who suffered over the weekend because the airline failed to handle thousands of pieces of luggage. Thai Airways International has cancelled scores of flights since the floods hit Bangkok and surrounding areas.
