Singapore has blocked access to Singapore Herald’s website after the media failed to remove articles on Singapore-Malaysia territorial dispute that are deemed objectionable by the country’s Media Development Authority, The Straits Times reports. Bickering between Malaysia and Singapore are over their maritime and air boundaries.  Both sides hunkered down on their respective positions after abruptly taking the disputes public on early December. Singapore has filed a declaration under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (Unclos) to ensure that Malaysia does not unilaterally commence third-party arbitration or adjudication against the republic over their ongoing maritime boundary dispute.
