The Ministry of Health on Sunday (April 19) said that there are 596 new cases of Covid-19 infections in Singapore. This brings the total number of infections in the country to 6,588. There were no imported infections. The MOH also identified five new clusters of infections: Woodlands Lodge I (50 Woodlands Industrial park E4), Changi Lodge II (80 Tanah Merah Coast Road), 51 Paya Ubi Industrial Park, 17 Jalan Besut and Sembawang Shipyard (198 Tagore Lane). Of the 596 cases, 30 are cases in the community. Of these, 25 are Singaporeans or Permanent Residents and five are work pass holders.
