In a cabinet reshuffle on Wednesday President Joko Widodo replaced Social Affairs Minister Khofifah Indar Parawansa with Golkar secretary-general Idrus Marham and Presidential chief of staff Teten Masduki with Indonesian armed forces (TNI) chief Moeldoko. Jokowi retained Golkar Party chairman Airlangga Hartarto as industry minister. Airlangga took the helm of the party in December sparking speculation that he would be replaced in the Cabinet. Early in his administration, Jokowi vowed that he would not allow his ministers to hold positions at their respective political parties in order to focus on their work in the government. Jokowi’s also appointed Yuyu Sutisna as the new Air Force chief of staff  after month long vacancy.
