Indonesia has hit back on Australia’s announcement that it is considering to follow the United States in moving its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, with a senior official advising caution to its southern neighbor, The Jakarta Post reports. Australia Prime minister Scott Morrison said he was “open-minded” to the idea but denied he had been influenced by last year’s controversial decision by US president Donald Trump. Indonesia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi represented the country in condemning the undemocratic decision of US President Donald Trump who acknowledged Israel’s decision to name Jerusalem its new capital city late last year.
