MALAYSIA’S GOVT DISAPPROVES MILITARY INVOLVEMENT IN YEMEN: LIEW
Malaysia’s Pakatan Harapan government does not approve Ops Yemen 2 that saw the Malaysian Armed Forces being deployed to Saudi Arabia to assist its military operations in Yemen, The Star reports. The Malaysia new government will withdraw its troops from Saudi. On July this year, in a statement made to local media, Malaysia’s Defense Minister Mohammed Sabu said that maintaining a military presence in the kingdom risked dragging Malaysia into a regional conflict.
