President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo arrived at Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh on Sunday, where he is scheduled to meet Rohingya refugees. The President received the latest update of the refugee crisis in Cox’s Bazar from the city’s deputy commissioner, Ali Hossain, during a short meeting at the airport before he traveled to Jamtoli refugee camp, located about 70 kilometers from the airport. Jokowi laid emphasis on having a peaceful and quick solution to the Rohingya crisis against the backdrop of the bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Myanmar. The Indonesian President made the call during official bilateral talks with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office.
