Latest statistics from the Department of Economic Planning and Development (JPKE) indicate that around 20,000 are unemployed and the number is rising. The findings show that 30 per cent of these are youth aged 15 to 25.  It is heartbreaking to see tomorrow’s youth in this state as they are in their prime. While I understand that there were countless meetings and suggestions brought up by the government and community to combat unemployment, I feel something more drastic should be undertaken.
