ABS-CBN Corp. forged a deal with broadcast media firm Zoe Broadcasting Network Inc. so that it could air some of its programs on free television.

In a statement, Zoe Broadcasting said Zoe Channel 11 will be rebranded as “A2Z”. “Starting this October, A2Z will be the home of the newest TV experience for Filipinos as it offers relevant, informative, and entertaining content geared towards spiritual strengthening,” it said. Zoe Broadcasting said the channel will deliver inspirational shows, local and foreign movies, and some shows of ABS-CBN through a blocktime arrangement. ABS-CBN went off the air last May after its 25-year franchise lapsed. Two months later, 70 lawmakers voted against the renewal of the network’s application.
