The Thai government will be introducing tax incentives to encourage families to have more children as the country is becoming an ageing society, Thai News Agency (TNA) reported. The Cabinet approved the Finance Ministry’s proposal to allow households to deduct 60,000 baht from their taxable income this year for their second legitimate child. On 2017, The government revealed statistics showing that Thailand will become an aging society in a decade. Thailand is not alone in a war to make the society younger. Singapore has introduced the parenthood tax rebate to encourage Singaporeans to have more babies.
