Singapore’s Changi Airport has been named “world’s best airport” for the sixth consecutive year — as regional rival Hong Kong came in fourth place. Changi Airport was also named the Best Airport in Asia, and Best Airport for Leisure Amenities. Other airports in the top 5 include Seoul’s Incheon airport, Tokyo’s Haneda, Hong Kong International Airport and Doha’s Hamad International Airport. Changi Airport Group (CAG) deployed four automated cleaning robots at Terminal 4 last year after a search that took about three years. It plans to add six more this year. Housekeepers are trained to program the robot to mop, clean and pick up small items, among others.
