The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has requested the cooperation of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) in bringing home 118 Filipinos rescued from scam farms in Southeast Asia. The number is a clear indication that one, these criminal hubs continue to operate mainly in the so-called Golden Triangle, and two, many Filipinos still fall prey to cross-border human trafficking.
