Iconic Filipino personalities and events were transformed into visuals with the Philippine Postal Corporation‘s (PHLPost) recent launching of four new generation postcards at the 1st Visayas Art Fair held in Cebu City. Led by Postmaster General Norman Fulgencio, the unveiling showcased the postcards commemorating outstanding Filipinos in the field of sports, arts, lifestyle, and event pageantry. They include bowling world champion Paeng Nepomuceno, grandmaster Eugene Torre, theater actress and singer Lea Salonga, innovator and technology entrepreneur Diosdado Banatao, fashion designer and entrepreneur Josie Natori, National Basketball Association player Jordan Clarkson, billiard legend Efren “Bata” Reyes, iconic Filipino fast-food chain mascot Jollibee, and Cebuanos Kenneth Cobonpue, a furniture designer, and Monique Lhuillier, a fashion designer. Also in the list are Olympic gold medalist weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz and Miss Universe titlists Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach, and Catriona Gray.
