Endangered wildlife is relentlessly besieged by human lethality to the cusp of extinction in Malaysia. First, they are constantly hounded out of their natural habitats. Second, the climate crisis has shriveled their natural habitat and feeding ground. Third, they are vulnerable to poaching, such is the prize for their invaluable tusks, horns, paws and organs. A fourth existential threat has loomed: the animals cross highways and roads as part of their natural movement, only for some to end up as inadvertent roadkill.
