The ex-managing director of the World Bank highlighted that climate change stands as one of the most significant challenges. The effects of climate change contribute to a global temperature increase, with the average world temperature rising by 0.6 degrees Celsius since 2023. “In 2020, Indonesia was identified as one of the countries with the highest temperature, reaching 27.8 degrees Celsius,” said Sri Mulyani. Sri Mulyani said that Indonesia’s CO2 emissions are expected to rise along with the growth in income per capita, reaching approximately 3 tons of CO2 emissions per capita. “We will continue to pay attention to this challenge, and we must see what needs to be done.
