The body of a 23-year-old Indonesian woman was found in a suitcase in Mina, Mecca province, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, prompting a joint investigation between the kingdom and the Indonesian government, an Indonesian official has said. Indonesian Foreign Ministry citizen protection director Judha Nugraha said in a statement issued on Monday that local police had since arrested two Indonesian nationals suspected of having been involved in the death of the woman, identified only as A, based on a tip-off from the Indonesian Embassy in Jeddah. He went on to say that the preliminary postmortem report had found no external injuries on the body and that an autopsy was required to determine the cause of death.
