He added that the current Cambodian government under the leadership of Prime Minister Hun Manet has begun the first phase of the Pentagonal Strategy 2023-2028, which places anti-corruption work at the core of its goals for ongoing reform to strengthen good governance, and especially to promote clean administration. In late June, the Anti-Corruption Unit announced that the Cambodian, Lao and Thai sides attended a meeting on the theme of Education and Prevention of Corruption in Public Services that focused on the objectives and contents set out in Article 48 and Article 49 of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC).
