Another deadly explosion rocked the municipality of Isulan in Sultan Kudarat, Mindanao, Philippines, on Sunday. At least one person was killed in the blast, identified by police as 18-year-old Jan Mark Lupa. There were 14 injured – two of them seriously wounded, while 12 others suffered less severe injuries, Rappler reports. This is a second bombing in days, on Tuesday, a homemade bomb hidden under a motorcycle killed two people, one a child, and wounded 37 at a local street festival in the southern Philippines, a short distance from Isulan. Recent bombs before the two explosions were in July, when at least 10 people were killed when militants linked to the Abu Sayyaf terror group struck a military checkpoint with a car bomb.
