Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong had indicated, as early as in 2010, that he would like to step down before he turns 70 in February 2022.  But it is now abundantly clear that there will be a delay in his passing on the reins of Head of Government to his successor amid the Covid-19 crisis. Will this unwittingly cast doubt on the fourth-generation (4G) leadership?
