Espionage is a threat to the security of many nations. Malaysia is no exception. Sure, we have laws against espionage. One example is the Official Secrets Act 1972. But laws such as this aren’t enough to snuff out foreign intelligence operatives using Malaysia as a base for clandestine activities. And when clandestine activities are done remotely, a growing trend, these laws become toothless.
